Is the topper compatible with my mattress?

If you’re purchasing a topper to improve the comfort of a mattress that is old and sagging, we would instead suggest investing into replacing the entire mattress. 

Old mattresses often have compromised layers, losing their ability to rebound fully to their original shape. Trying to fix it with a topper layer will not fix the root cause of the poor comfort.

What makes it a “prototype”?

The prototype does not include a cover, but with or without a cover the comfort will feel the same. You can place it on top of your current mattress, and put sheets or a protector over the combined topper + mattress. 

While in development, we’ve been sharing our topper with various customers to gather feedback. It has been promising thus far, helping improve the sleep of customers who might have otherwise experienced the mattress as being too firm.

Is there a trial period for the topper?

The Topper comes with a 99-night sleep trial. The same offered with our Boring Mattress.

Comfort and Feel

Our mattress is a “6” on a 0 – 10 softness scale. Paired with the Boring Topper, our mattress adjusts to a softness of “5” for added pressure relief.

A perfect addition those wanting a softer but not sinking mattress

I bought this topper after trying to find the same topper used on the tuft and needle bed. Boring mattress co is very active on reddit and that makes looking up information very easy. Honestly, many website reviews can be promotions so it's best to look at a website with real users like reddit. That being said, I bought this topper with my own money and it has the same balanced medium firm feeling that I was looking for, you more sleep on the topper than sink deeply into it but this is exactly what I was looking for. Boring Mattress Co has been very responsive every step of the way so I think this business is a winner.
